Ready to ReNew the Block? Join us for a day of planting, learning, connecting with neighbors, and beautifying our community!
Volunteers will help with landscaping and exterior home repairs: tasks include weeding, mulching, trimming hedges, powerwashing, painting, and planting. Habitat's home base will be outside of Logan Middle School by the mural, and bathrooms inside will be accessible to volunteers.
Other details include:
• Breakfast and lunch are provided. Plan to bring a water bottle to refill on site.
• All are welcome, small kids included. If you cannot join us for the full shift (morning/ afternoon), we still encourage you to swing by for an hour or so.
• What to wear: gardening clothes, comfortable shoes you can get dirty, and bring your own gloves if you have them (otherwise they will be provided)
Habitat's ReNew the Block program combines home repair, stormwater mitigation, urban agriculture, and community education - all on a single block.
