Bike.Build.Home 500 was organized in 2023 to continue the fine traditions of the Habitat 500 bike ride, which was previously coordinated by Habitat for Humanity Minnesota. In its 30-year history, bike riders raised over $7 million to build affordable homes. The BBH 500 steering committee includes past Habitat 500 riders, volunteers, and committee members. BBH 500 hopes to mobilize the nearly-all-volunteer spirit of the original Habitat 500, updating it with what we have learned from Habitat Minnesota.
